I do so like the description of "God" that Obi Wan Kenobi says in Star Wars Episode III, when he says: "The Force is made up of all living things. As far as religion is concerned, I've always been partial to the saying: "There are many paths up the mountain, but the view from the top is the same."
It's interesting to hear people in this forum distance themselves from the title of "New Age" as, I would have expected, most people would associate orgonite with such a category.
In light of the discussions in this thread, I don't know what to think anymore!
Personally, I hate most labels anyway. They tend to place you in a vulnerable space of being blanketed by someone's preconception of your beliefs. You feel on the defensive all the time. I understand why most people want to distance themselves from being "new agers". The term has been used so often in a derogatory way, therefore a strong stigma is associated. Besides, there are some sketchy characters related to the inception of the movement that suggest links with the control system.
We all have varying degrees of dark and light within. We are all connected too. To me, being associated with this group or that group, contributes to the indifference in the world because we see ourselves as being better than another whether we are conscious of it or not.

Thank you for the good vibes and feedback. Yes, we are all on the same road, hoping our orgonite fields grow more and more so they can blend, interact and communicate in the good sense, to stop those psychic hooks and get our blue skies back and so much more positive things,... Thanks also for sharing the info, it is very helpfull to hear from other gifters than trying to gift alone in a very isolated way.

Well, in trying to cure my own ignorance I have learned a little.
It seems they are both types of gypsum, but the desert roses may be more druse and may be a bit more contaminated.
While sellers call desert rose and gypsum flower by the name, "selenite," it seems that these two are really other varieties of gypsum, and not really selenite.
I learned not to boil selenite, as it may dissolve. (Mine didn't, after 3 hours of boiling. Neither did my gypsum flower)
Selenite, satin spar, desert rose, and gypsum flower are four varieties of the mineral gypsum; all four varieties show obvious crystalline structure. The four "crystalline" varieties of gypsum are sometimes grouped together and called selenite.
All varieties of gypsum, including selenite and alabaster, are composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate (meaning has two molecules of water), with the chemical formula CaSO4·2H2O. Selenite contains no significant selenium; the similarity of names comes from both substances being named from the Ancient Greek word for the Moon.
I'm going to take a wag here and guess that because the crystalline structure is obviously different, that desert rose gypsum and selenite gypsum will behave at least somewhat differently in orgonite.

Hi all,
I've noticed that there've been a number who use virtually no metal (per se') at all, but just iron oxides. I know that Lena has said that without some crushed up crystals (and some experience), the energy coming out of this orgonite is a little messy and somewhat unpleasant.
However, these people seem to use plain old sand (SiO2) instead of larger quartz crystals. If you can verify that the sand you're using is actually quartz SiO2, does this work as a sufficient substitute?

Indeed, my colleague has some nasty hardship to win over in this flemish town. I wish you sweet dreams, and then that will be more than i received at nighttime for years. But 'my area' too suffered from nasty, groce warfare in old ancient times. Possibly the energies that waged the wars were in old ancient times of one and the same smutty black army. These energies at august of 2010 thought they taught me a lesson. While doing my shopping in a local mall; three hard punches, slamming right on my solar plexus. With a soft whispering; 'Go away, you fool, and do not ever, ever return. We are the one and only ones that rule this place, and no one else ever will. And if you persist to stay, then face the consequences, we own this place..'. I, afterwards, still was there. Of course they taught me a lesson. The lesson of persistance and gift even more. I simply knew where the next homework needed to be done. Well, my answer took form in all the gifting reports. OK, they had their stronghold. Not anymore. They lost it. I still admire Carolus for his acts of performance. 'We are on this road together...'. It still means that.... i will continue to gift ahead. I paid too much. physical fitness, emotional disturbance. Every time i get new money, another tb-order goes out. no matter what. The moment will come that if i arrive on a location feeling groce, nasty, low-freq/DOR; i am ready to saturate/bomb/tear whatever the resistance to pieces. And my vendor knows about it.
And once again a reverence to you, Tux, and all your colleagues with your thoroughly gifting throughout U.S. Of course the gifting saturation of this small country continues. As i continue to feel confronted with new location with frequential plunge-downs still. Also outside my hometown. grrr-owl.
