You have to understand that this is a unique attack, inasmuch as this vulnerability has never been exploited before, not only that it was done within a month, also YOU were targeted. Movable Type is used by government agencies and some quite high profile sites around the world. MT will want to fix this for their own reasons. A director at MT wants a conference call to glean what he can, and they may want access to logs, my report etc. This issue may escalate quite a bit, including involvement of government security agencies. We have certain obligations to assist in any investigation.
This a site that simply tells people what Islam is. It is not a "hate blog". And that is why it upsets Islamists and their enablers( as it says).

Just two hours after The Huffington Post published a story standing firm with the giant snow penis erected in South Kingstown, RI, the phallus that excited a nation was dismantled. Raylene Worthington, whose 16-year-old son sculpted the polarizing penis, told HuffPost Weird News that the 12-foot-tall behemoth was causing traffic -- and local outrage -- in the neighborhood. She said she just couldn't keep it up.
"It's just a big pair of balls now," she said. "Someone called me and said there were police in my yard today because there was traffic ... The story got too big. It was funny, but I'd had enough."
Worthington's son Ryan built the snowner to 6 feet on Monday. After police were called twice, the penis grew twice its size to 12 feet, much to the chagrin of some prudish neighbors.
Now, a neighborhood is in mourning after the great project went flaccid. At about 2 p.m. local time, Worthington posted this message on the penis' Facebook page:
The sculpture is officially down. Enough excitement for 2 days. What started as an innocent joke was taken out of proportion by people with nothing else to do but complain. Life is short...keep smiling....and have Fun!

It was a shot in the dark, but an Illinois police officer manage to separate two whitetail deer whose antlers were tangled together -- by shooting them apart.
The bucks got stuck last week in Illinois after a bitter duel, and a conservation police officer, state trooper, and forest preserve officer were all called out to try free them, according to the New York Daily News.
The officers feared the animals would both die from starvation unless they were split up. Still, they knew better than to attempt the separation by hand. Instead, one of the officers attempted to shoot the animals apart without harming either animal, DigTriad.com reported.
"He's worn out, he's going to give you a shot," one of the officers can be heard saying on a YouTube clip released by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
One of the officers was able to shoot the bucks' racks apart, but one deer did have to be euthanized after being freed, while the other one survived, according to OutdoorLife.com.
A spokesman for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources said that officials believe both animals survived and that the one that limped off in the video did not do so because of the officer’s actions.
"It had been engaged in a fight with the other deer and probably sustained a minor injury from the altercation with the other deer," the spokesman told The Huffington Post by email.
At first, it seemed like the shooting was coming under fire from some animal activists, including a man named Mark Dorencz, who told the agency on their Facebook page that the officer "should have comforted the deer prior to shooting at them." However, the IDNR spokesman said that Dorencz later claimed that his comments were meant as a joke and he was not part of an animal rights group.
But a department spokesman told the Daily Mail that the shooting was necessary to ensure the survival of at least one of the bucks.
"Fights among male deer are common and occasionally their antlers become entangled," the spokesperson told the paper. "Sometimes the deer are able to free themselves…sometimes not, and in those instances we have found deer which become locked together and perish before someone comes along to find and possibly free them."

On a day that had a lot of people talking about meteorites and asteroids, a fireball of some sort was seen streaking across the Bay Area skies.
The fireball was seen around 7:45 p.m.
There were reports into the newsroom from people as far north as Fairfield and as far south as Gilroy. It was also seen in Sacramento, Newark, Walnut Creek, and St. Helena.
It was bluish in color and appeared to be heading straight to the ground, according to one viewer in Santa Clara.
Meteors are pieces of rock and metal from space that fall to Earth. They burn up as they go through our atmosphere. The burning is what causes the bright flash of light.
"I saw that meteor/fireball over Solano County after spending the day reporting on asteroids and fireballs," said NBC Bay Area reporter Jodi Hernandez.
Candice Guruwaiya told us on Facebook she saw it in San Jose. "I was leaving Safeway on Branham and Snell when I saw it. It looked like it was headed for the Capital Auto Mall area. It was a bright green when it first appeared, then it went to a bright yellow. It was awesome!" Guruwaiya posted.
Gina Johnson also saw it in San Jose. She also posted on our Facebook page that she had just walked out of a Fresh and Easy in San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood. "It looked just like the one I saw back in October except it was a little smaller. It was greenish in color just like the one on October. Everyone in the parking lot stopped and looked at it," Johnson posted
It comes on the same night a 150-foot-wide asteroid was due to come within 17,200 miles of Earth. It was not immediately clear if the fireball had any connection to the asteroid.
Chabot astronomers in Oakland said the meteor was not related to the asteroid passing near Earth.
Astronomer Gerald McKeegan said based on accounts he thinks it was a "sporadic meteor," which can happen several times a day. He told Bay City News that sporadic meteors bring as much as 15,000 tons of space debris to Earth each year.
He said it was likely smaller than another meteor that landed in the Bay Area in October, which caused a loud sonic boom as it fell in the North Bay.
It also happened about 24 hours after a huge meteorite fell from the skies over Russia's Chelyabinsk region, resulting in a powerful blast that injured nearly 1,000 people and shattered windows across the area.
Chelyabinsk health chief Marina Moskvicheva told the Russian news agency Interfax that 985 people in her city asked for medical help and 43 were hospitalized.
Many of the injuries were reportedly from broken windows as a result of a sonic boom that followed the initial impact of the meteorite.
Someone posted the following on YouTube within an hour of the fireball sighting.
The video was titled "Shooting Star across San Francisco 2/15/2013 7:44PM." The person who posted it said he was driving south on I-280 toward the peninsula.

It is still considered highly uncool to ascribe a person's political beliefs, even in part, to that person's biology: hormones, physiological responses, even brain structures and genes. And no wonder: Doing so raises all kinds of thorny, non-PC issues involving free will, determinism, toleration, and much else.
There's just one problem: Published scientific research keeps going there, with ever increasing audacity (not to mention growing stacks of data).
The past two weeks have seen not one but two studies published in scientific journals on the biological underpinnings of political ideology. And these studies go straight at the role of genes and the brain in shaping our views, and even our votes.

First, in the American Journal of Political Science, a team of researchers including Peter Hatemi of Penn State University and Rose McDermott of Brown University studied the relationship between our deep-seated tendencies to experience fear—tendencies that vary from person to person, partly for reasons that seem rooted in our genes—and our political beliefs. What they found is that people who have more fearful disposition also tend to be more politically conservative, and less tolerant of immigrants and people of races different from their own. As McDermott carefully emphasizes, that does not mean that every conservative has a high fear disposition. "It's not that conservative people are more fearful, it's that fearful people are more conservative," as she puts it.
I interviewed the paper's lead author, Peter Hatemi, about his research for my 2012 book The Republican Brain. Hatemi is both a political scientist and also a microbiologist, and as he stressed to me, "nothing is all genes, or all environment." These forces combine to make us who we are, in incredibly intricate ways.
And if Hatemi's and McDermott's research blows your mind, get this: Darren Schreiber, a political neuroscientist at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, first performed brain scans on 82 people participating in a risky gambling task, one in which holding out for more money increases your possible rewards, but also your possible losses. Later, cross-referencing the findings with the participants' publicly available political party registration information, Schreiber noticed something astonishing: Republicans, when they took the same gambling risk, were activating a different part of the brain than Democrats.
Republicans were using the right amygdala, the center of the brain's threat response system. Democrats, in contrast, were using the insula, involved in internal monitoring of one's feelings. Amazingly, Schreiber and his colleagues write that this test predicted 82.9 percent of the study subjects' political party choices—considerably better, they note, than a simple model that predicts your political party affiliation based on the affiliation of your parents.
I also interviewed Schreiber for The Republican Brain. He's a scientist who was once quite cautious about the relevance of brain studies to people's politics. As he put it to me: "If you had called me four years ago and said, 'What is your view on whether Republicans and Democrats have different brains?' I would have said no." Now, his own published research suggests otherwise.
The current research suggests not only that having a particular brain influences your political views, but also that having a particular political view influences your brain. One again, though, there's a critical nuance here. Schreiber thinks the current research suggests not only that having a particular brain influences your political views, but also that having a particular political view influences and changes your brain. The causal arrow seems likely to run in both directions—which would make sense in light of what we know about the plasticity of the brain. Simply by living our lives, we change our brains. Our political affiliations, and the lifestyles that go along with them, probably condition many such changes.
The two new studies described here are likely connected: It is hard not to infer that fear of outsiders or those different from you—along with greater fear dispositions in general—may be related to the role of amygdala, a brain structure that has been dubbed the "heart and soul of the fear system." The amygdala has been repeatedly implicated in politics. Indeed, Schreiber's research builds on prior brain studies: In a group of University College of London students, for instance, conservatives showed more gray matter in the right amygdala.
So what's the upshot? How about this: We need a much broader and more thoughtful discussion about what it means if political ideology turns out to be nothing like what we actually thought it was. Scientists working in this new field tend towards the conclusion that the new research should make us more tolerant, not less, of political difference—not to mention a whole lot more humble about our own deeply held beliefs.
