Memory can expand even futher when we look for meaning in our lives. At times, it can take on the nature of inspiration when we seem to "remember" a greater existence, a higher realm, and what we are meant or destined to become. Such experience can be initiated by a flood of memories about long-forgotten events that, once recalled, show how they have prepared us for the greater things we were meant to do.
Intuition:
But transcendent knowing is not limited to artistic or scientific work. At times it comes as immediate knowledge about how we should proceed in the everyday conduct of our lives. We might call this "precognitive" or "anticipatory" intuition. It might come as a hunch, "gut feeling" or image of our doing something at a particular time or place that ultimately leads -- as if by "synchronicity"-- to new information, connections, or situations that enrich our lives and allows us to actualize larger projects. With intention and practice, we can learn to recognize such intuition more quickly and follow its lead.
Transcendent Knowing, seems to come from a being or nature beyond the ordinary self. And when it is cultivated, it increasingly reveals a higher Presence calling us towards greater life and action in this ever-evolving world.
